Arrival in Siliguri
Upon arrival at Bagdogra International Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you’ll be transferred to Phuntsholing, the border town of Bhutan. Later, get driven to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit Amo Chhu Crocodile Breeding Centre, home to various crocodile species or unwind at the Torsa Riverside. Return to the hotel on your own for an overnight stay.

Transfer to Thimphu

Transfer to Thimphu
In the morning, check out and visit the immigration office to obtain the travel permit before being driven to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. Upon arrival, check in, relax, and then you can explore Thimphu’s attractions like the Royal Botanical Garden, known for its diverse flora, or stroll through the Ludrong Memorial Garden, which stands between Tashichho Dzong & Parliament House. The garden boasts various tree, shrub & flower species. Later, return to the hotel on your own for an overnight stay.

Board your transfer & head to the Simtokha Dzong, one of Bhutan's oldest fortresses. Visit the Tashichho Dzong, a fortress-monastery that houses 30 temples, chapels and shrines and the Motithang Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal, Takin. Explore the Handicraft Market & the National Memorial Chorten, a monument built in honour of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Visit the 177-ft Buddha Dordenma Statue, overlooking the Thimphu Valley before getting driven back to the hotel.

After checking out, get driven to Punakha, with a scenic stop at Dochula Pass to take in panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas. Next, visit Chimi Lhakhang, the "Temple of Fertility," built in 1499. Its most striking feature is the golden roof, gleaming in sunlight, with rows of prayer wheels. Continue to Punakha Dzong, a majestic fortress between Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers, which once served as the seat of the government. Later, upon arrival at the hotel, check in for an overnight stay.

Today, you will be driven to Gangtey on a day trip. Begin by visiting the Phobjikha Valley, a glacial valley renowned as the winter home to endangered black-necked cranes. Next, explore Gangtey Gompa, a 17th-century Nyingmapa monastery perched on a ridge, offering stunning valley views. Continue to Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, strategically located at the confluence of the Mo Chu and Tang Chu rivers. After your sightseeing tour, you'll be driven back to the hotel in Punakha for an overnight stay.

In the morning, check out of the hotel in Punakha and get driven to the beautiful town of Paro, passing through Bhutanese villages. Upon arrival, post check in, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest Buddhist temples, known for its vivid murals. Later, visit Drukgyel Dzong, a historic fortress that once protected Bhutan from Tibetan invasions. The dzong offers breathtaking views of Paro Valley & Mt. Jhomolhari, Bhutan’s 2nd highest peak. Get driven to the hotel for an overnight stay.

In the morning, get driven to Ta Dzong, showcasing a rich collection of Bhutanese art, textiles, weapons & religious objects. Get ready for a trek to the Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang) Monastery & board the transfer to Satsam Chencho Tshongkhang. Pass by the pine forest & prayer flags to the monastery. Inside the monastery, explore prayer wheels, meditation caves & murals dedicated to Guru Rinpoche. After the descent, get transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Today, check out and enjoy a scenic drive to Phuntsholing, on Bhutan’s southern border. Upon arrival, check in and begin your tour with a visit to the Bhutan Gate, a fine example of local craftsmanship. Explore Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, featuring intricate murals honouring Guru Rinpoche, then head to Karbandi Monastery for panoramic views of Phuntsholing & Bengal Plains. End the day at Phuntsholing Market, buzzing with local crafts and textiles, before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

In the morning, check out of the hotel and bid farewell to the Land of Thunder Dragon. En route, visit the immigration office for final formalities. Board your transfer to Bagdogra International Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. This is where your trip comes to an end.
