Upon arrival, get driven to Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, renowned for its unique Nilachal-style architecture and the annual Ambubachi Mela. Later, check in at the hotel and rest for a bit before heading out to explore the city. Visit Nehru Park, featuring statues depicting traditional Assamese dances and then take a boat (extra cost) to Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Return to the hotel on your own for an overnight stay.
